Inventionland Classes are now offered on-site at DuBois Business College Main Campus!
Throughout the coursework, students work collaboratively to generate ideas and make a concept model, and then engineer each part of their invention using CAD technology. Using 3-D printing, students are able to transform their designs into a physical prototype. Next, to visually sell their idea, each group uses a graphic design tool to construct the external packaging for their invention. By the end of the program, students have created a product sample and must develop a marketing pitch and infomercial.
The course will culminate in a “Shark Tank” presentation in front of professional entrepreneurs and inventors. “I just love it,” said the curriculum’s creator George Davison, CEO & Founder of Inventionland®. “Through every step, the students get to apply what they’ve learned in S.T.E.A.M, and leverage it in real world scenarios that will help them to solve the problems they are going to face in business and in life.”
This unique partnership is opening exciting new doors for DBC students!
